
Team 303 tells pourquoi tales
Students participated in a 1 week long Li’l Stories Lab, where they collaborated, created, captured, and shared stories. They retold the Ojibwa Legend “How the Beaver got his tale” and had a lot of fun creating their own pourquoi tales inspired by the legends of Eastern tribes. Students actively discussed and created visual stories and practiced critical thinking, communication and collaborating with friends. Here are Team 303’s pourquoi tales from May of 2017:

Subject: Writing, Social Studies
Target Skills: Understanding story structure and the writing process
Goals: Students will recount pourquoi tales from Native Americans and use content information learned to construct original pourquoi tales.
